Why the German Economy is at Risk

This morning I was on CNBC’s Squawk Box Europe to discuss the upcoming German election and the state of the German and European economies. This was a different format from the usual ‘presenter interviews expert’ and I quite enjoyed this, also because there was time to have a discussion and get more out than  just a few soundbites.     Nice job Henning! Lord, that one “host” was a blabbermouth. Not as bad as the times I have been on Fox News, but getting close. When I watch talking heads like him, I am always reminded of the saying “Arrogance and ignorance are a very unattractive combination!”

      My impression was that there is a fair amount of acting involved to make the programme more appealing for viewers. Not sure whether this helps in terms of getting serious points across but it makes it more entertaining and I enjoyed that I had more time than 3-4 minutes.

      We Germans always look very dapper in our Hugo Boss suits, don’t we ;-)
