Yesterday afternoon I was back at CNBC, this time on the ‘European Closing Bell’ programme. I was interviewed about the German elections and the newly released CDU/CSU election manifesto in particular. One of my main arguments was that the financing of Angela Merkel’s election promises is based on very optimistic economic growth rates in the years to come. Watch the whole interview below.
